1.     Department of Computer Science & Engineering

The main objective of the Department is to provide training and to mould the students in technical and soft skills so as to fit for the industry. The syllabi are focused on Hardware, Software, Networking and other emerging areas and technologies of Computer Science & Engineering. At present the department offers B.Tech. (CSE) programme,  and later PG and research programmes will be introduced.   The department specializes in the area of Image processing, NLP, Database systems, Data mining, Soft computing, Distributed systems, Genetic Algorithms, etc. Priority is given for Industrial Training/Visits, Mini projects and a live Main project. The Computer Centre is equipped with a  Four Way Rack Server,  65 numbers of Nodes  with TFT monitors,  Two numbers of Mono HP LaserJet 3052 All-in-One (Print, copy, scan)  printers,  One number of HP Scanjet 7650 Document Flatbed Scanner (L1940A)  and 5 Nos. of Dot Matrix Printers along with necessary licenced software for conducting the first year programme.

2.     Department of Information Technology

The Technology is rapidly changing and Information Technology training becomes inevitable to people in all walks of life. The Department of Information Technology is very keen in promoting IT/ITeS education to the students. At present the department offers B.Tech. (IT) programme, and later PG and research programmes will be introduced.   The Department specializes in the area of Image processing, Web enabled software development, GIS, Mobile Technology, Data Communication, Internet Technology, e-governance and Business Intelligence.

3.     Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering

From the modest beginning, the department committed for providing highest possible standards of quality in teaching and training. At present the department offers B.Tech. (ECE) programme, and later PG and research programmes will be introduced.   The department has established a new laboratory with state-of-art facilities with a view to nurture students in experimental set up. The department specializes in the areas of Digital Signal Processing, Cellular Mobile Communication, Network Security, embedded systems, VLSI and telecommunication systems.

Facility

The lab consists of the technically updated version of instruments such as Strain gauge and LVDT, which are useful for students to realize the practical applications of transducers. The laboratory has Electrical wiring accessories to practice wiring.

Mathematics is considered to be queen of science and place a major role in Engineering Education. The Course curriculum of all branches of study consists of different topics of Mathematics up to Fifth semester.

5.     Department of  Physics

The spacious Physics lab with comfortable worktable equipped with enough number of apparatus to perform experiments individually (one-one facility). A separate dark room with advanced LASER experiments is available. A muffle furnace for research activity is also available.

6.     Department of Chemistry

Chemistry is central science impinging on almost all aspects of our daily lives. The division of Chemistry has a long and rich tradition of research and has played a major role in the advancement of Chemical Science and Technology. The department has instruments such as Double distillation plant, PH meter (Electronic), Digital Colorimeter, Potentiometer, Determination of COD, BOD, DO of water sample, Digital Conductivity meter and Furnace (100 to 1900o C). 

7.     Basic Engineering and Workshop 

Basic Engineering concepts and Workshop practice are the essential components of Engineering education. Exposure through practice is an excellent way to learn about the ease-of-use of Welding, Fitting and Carpentry.  A spacious Drawing hall is available to practice Engineering Graphics. This will help the students to understand the Design and Implementation concepts. Material Testing is being undertaken and Material Testing Lab with state-of-art facilities will be setup.

8.      Department of Humanities and Social Sciences

The Department is focusing on Imparting Technical English as a part of the curriculum. Its objective is to enrich Communication Skills and equip students to face Campus Interview and mould their individual personality and technical skills. A well equipped Language Lab will be set up to hone students facing competitive examinations such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, CAT etc. The Department also aims at identifying weak students in Language and Communication and thereby providing special coaching in Oral and Written forms of the Language and train them in effective Presentation Skills.

9.      College Library

The College Library caters to the needs of learning and teaching styles through the provision of access to a wide range of reading materials both in hard and digital form.  It facilitates the planning and implementation of effective teaching-learning process so that it will equip students with the skills necessary to succeed in a constantly changing social and economic environment.  Steps have been taken to have access with DELNET, INFLIBNET, ERNET and so on. The library has made arrangements to access both International and National journals through INDEST Consortium.  The library is in the process of automating its activities. Digital library will be created with back volumes in digital form.
